Every Pergola Cave aluminum pergola is backed by our industry-leading 5+5 year warranty: 5 years on all mechanical components and 5 years on the structural frame. We stand behind every product we sell, and every installation we complete.
What's Covered
- Structural frame (5 years): All aluminum extrusions, posts, beams, and rafters against defects in materials and workmanship
- Mechanical components (5 years): Louver blades, pivot pins, drive shafts, and hand-crank systems
- Motor & electronics (5 years): Tubular motors, control boards, rain sensors, wind sensors, and remote receivers
- Powder-coat finish (5 years): Against peeling, flaking, or excessive fading under normal Southern California conditions
- LED lighting (2 years): LED strip kits and junction connections
What's Not Covered
- Damage from improper installation by a non-authorized installer
- Damage from Acts of God exceeding the rated 165 mph wind specification (Category 5 hurricane-level)
- Normal surface wear, minor scratches, or oxidation from salt-air environments beyond the coastal specification
- Modifications made without prior written approval from Pergola Cave
Wind & Weather Rating
All Sunkisser Series pergolas are independently tested and rated to 165 mph wind load — exceeding California building code requirements for most residential installations. Our pergolas are built to last through LA's Santa Ana wind events and coastal conditions.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
To start a warranty claim, use the Warranty Claim form or call us at (818) 213-2111. Have your order number and installation date ready. Our team typically responds within one business day.
Transferability
The structural warranty is fully transferable to a new homeowner for the remainder of the warranty period — a significant selling point if you ever decide to list your home.
